TSOVINAR ARTIST RESIDENCY

Hosted by Ars Techne Lab, the residency is a unique interdisciplinary program in Armenia focused on STEAM, citizen science, and ecology. Artists, researchers, and educators collaborate on projects that address human ecological impact, carbon footprint, and environmental responsibilities. Inspired by the Armenian goddess Tsovinar, this residency promotes collaboration, fluidity, resilience, skill development, and public outreach while valuing inclusivity, diversity, and the wisdom and survivance of the Indigenous Armenian community. Through workshops, mentoring sessions, and public showcases, participants engage with local and international partners to deepen the understanding of the relationship between art, science, and ecology in contemporary society.
